E with steam guages, and an R with some glass and the wing pods that house the drogues.
or, if you're feeling lazy, just an R with the glass and pods.

Re: next big plane...
The current fleet are mostly PACER CRAG Block 40 R-models. McConnell still has some Special Operations mission Tanker Navs that fly onboard. So you could throw a bone to us old fart Navs and include the navigator station. Add the MPRS/WARP drogue reels and with a basket on the boom we could refuel three squids in FSX multiplayer. Or two Navy pukes and an Air Force fighter/heavy with the boom without a basket fitted. This could be a configurable option. If you wanted to animate the cargo door you could even have a K-loader and air stair capability that would be a nice touch. You really can't go wrong with the "R" and you've already confessed you like the CFM 56 engines! Do it!

Hello Folks,
As MILVIZ don't do only Military stuff, i suggest a CV 990A or a DC-8 62
Cheers.

I don't know if its too late to add any inputs, but I think you should do a KC-135A/R. I can't think of a good tanker that's out for FSX and milviz makes fantastic military planes! Is there any way you can make the plane cockpit shareable? I think your plane would be great as a crew plane both in takeoff and in flight with one person flying and the other working the boom!

Late to the party, but... some of my personal favorites for future consideration:
Corvair B-58A Hustler
McDonnell F-101 Voodoo
Canadair CT-114 Tutor
and finally, it would be great if you guys could leverage your T-38A efforts and release an F-5 (my all-time fave!)

Real late to the party...
Since I live in Tampa and I see the KC-135 flying in and out of McDill all the time, that's the one we should do
